Dear Mike,
I was just going through some of the posts on the “ask the tutor P7 page” and I saw that you have advised that the best way to prepare for the P7 exam is by reading and understanding the examiner’s answers.
I am also doing P7 with P4 in June 2015, due to work constraints, I have not been able to start any of my studies yet. However, I have convinced my employer and he has agreed to give me a two month study leave starting from today. Am I safe? Do I have enough time to cover P7 in two months time? I really don’t want to fail. It’s my first time I’m doing P7. I’m looking for a score of 72-75% in P7.
April 1, 2015 at 11:48 am #239792Without knowing about other demands on your time, yes, you could be safe so long as you are conscientious. I’m not suggesting that you lock yourself away in a dark room to concentrate solely on P4 and P7 but the prospect of 2 months’ paid “holiday” could be an interesting diversion!
Get stuck into revision kits as soon as you can. Personally I would use a study text only in situations whe you wish to look deeper into a topic or where you feel course notes, videos, revision kit answers are not explaining a matter in sufficient detail or with sufficient clarity
Ok?
April 7, 2015 at 8:17 pm #240455Please allow me to insinuate myself here. 🙂 So sir, is the kit alone sufficient to score great marks in P7?
April 11, 2015 at 4:13 pm #240924No, it’s not sufficient on its own! I mention in the previous post “course notes and videos” but there’s also a need for commitment, patience, application and perseverance.
Don’t put all your investment on one horse!
