I am still doing FAU and I have realized that some of the f8 topics are of help. Can you help me with the topics that I can concentrate on that are more of foundation than the advanced f8? I am also aware that the FAU notes are available but I am learning fast listening than reading.

I can’t immediately identify anything on the F8 notes that wouldn’t be useful in your FAU. The main difference is in the type of questions asked because in F8 there are many marks for longer scenario-type questions. We are, of course, at a bit of a disadvantage because not many FAU exams are available (Pilot + June 2012) so it’s hard to build up a pattern of subjects examined.
Note that in our F8 section of the site there is a large number of OT questions and something we call a revision exam which is all OT (20 marks each time you try, with questions being drawn from a large bank).
