Good day John, i dont know if you can help me with this. i have forgottend. if you are given sales revenue say 37,900,000 and are told that markup is 150% of cost. how do you go about to find the cost price
thanks you
If cost is $100, then the markup will be $150 and the selling price will be $250.
So, for every $250 of sales the cost will be $100.
So….if the sales are 37.9M, then the cost will be 100/250 x 37.9M
Hope that helps 🙂
yes it helps as usual. thanks
You are welcome 🙂
