I have just started question practice and wanted some advice before I look at answers.
If we are answering a question with reference to a model could we put something like ‘using the PESTEL model WET ……..’ would this be acceptable and then then go onto discuss the 5 forces model could we ‘However using the five forces model it is clear that WET….’
Hope this makes sense.

JemmaThat is a good approach and makes your answer easy to mark. Remember that you don’t have to cover everything in, for example PESTEL, if there is nothing in the question about it. Remember to use the models to move on the problem. So don’t just say (in 5 forces) “There is a major world-sized company assessing the local market”, say something like “There is a major world-sized company assessing the local market and this will increase competition by introducing substantial downward pressure on prices”.
The ACCA answers are often a bit rambling, I think. Stick to a model by model approach
