When I’ve been self marking and looking at the model answers, I’ve made a good point that is listed in the answer, but it’s in the wrong section. Would I still get a mark for it?

Probably not – unless the marker was being very kind. So read all the requirements and make sure you don’t begin to answer (b) whilst answering (a).
