Hi
I’m confused on the working 2 of this question relating to the additions part. We are told that additions increase by 20% of the previous year’s additions and goes on to give the answers of 79, 95 & 114. Yet in the F.S of the question it shows additions as 66.
How have the 79, 95 and 114 figures been reached?
Thanks
Emma
If last year was 66, then next year will be 66 + (20% x 66) = 79
The following year will be 79 + (20% x 79) = 95
And so on…. 🙂
Thank you!
Seems so simple now ….clearly a case that I was trying to over think too much there..
You are welcome 🙂
