Dear mike
When I calculate ratio can I write(say) current ratio=100/50
Or I should current ratio =current assets/current liability and after that calculate

Write “Current ratio (182:89) 2 : 1”
ie show the figures you have used. That way, if you make a stupid calculation mistake, you won’t lose because the examiner / marker can see that you were correct in principle.
For example, if you had written:-
“Current ratio (182:89) 12 : 1”
that should not lose you a mark!
