When answering questions, I am comfortable with the models that need to be used to provide framework for structuring the answer, however I feel my answers are limited, for example when I answer a macro-environment question I apply PESTEL, but cant quite get past the information from the question which I do not think is enough.

How do I develop my answers, clearly question practice over the next three weeks is one key factor – any other advise?

    Much appreciated.

After each PESTEL factor, 5 forces factor, resource analysis think: “So What?” What are the implications?”

So, if the economy is looking more hopeful then the implications for the company might be: it’s could be a good time to expand, launch a new product etc (depending on the scrnario).

If 5 forces identified the threat of a new entrant the implications might be: “How can we fight this?” “If we cannot fight this should we withdraw form the market etc.
