3. Do all business entities (sole trader, partnership, public and private limited companies) legally required to prepare financial statements?
4. The range of number of partners/shareholders in a partnership, private and public limited companies.
1 PLC is public limited company (the shares are listed on a stock exchange)
LTD is limited company (the shares are not listed)
2 Yes (but irrelevant for F9)
3 No (sole traders and partnerships are not required to) but irrelevant for F9
4 Again, irrelevant for F9 (it depends on the laws of the particular country).
The only one of your questions that has any relevance for Paper F9 is (1). Don’t worry about the others at all 🙂
