    Hello,

I have been reviewing Paper P3 2011 Pilot Paper and model examiner’s answers provided along with. i got a little bit confused or mainly surprised when i reviewed the examiner answer to Question 1 Part (a) which asks to use PESTEL model to assess the Macro -enviroment of NMS.

However, i have been taught and learned that when facing such questions you have to state what the influences are this is small part of answer and the second most important part is relating these influences to the company in the case by discussing why they are relevant and how they create and opportunity or threat for the company..right!

but when i reveiwed the examiners model answers i am confused here..they seems to be rather classification and only repeating the influences in nice teadniess way without mentionig how they affect NMS…

Does anyone noticed this..please review the pilot paper and model answer and guide me through because this confusion is dangerous am not sure anymore how to tackle these importat question in the exams

    sorry for long writing

please advice as soon as possible

    regards,

You are correct, I think. The answer should not be cut and paste of the question. Implications of each factor should be explained.

Do you think that based on your review of the model answers i am talking about? i need specifically to know if such an answer is representative of how students should tackle this kind of questions in the exam..is it enough and earn full mark or it is not!…

    thank you so much

As I said above, the answer should not be cut and paste of the question. Implications of each factor should be explained. Therefore, I think the model answer is not sufficient for full marks.
