Will the gain of disposal of the asset(building) not be taxed as a Capital Gain, Instead of writing it down as a balancing charge in depreciation?

Hi, why the answer to this question is different in the notes? You calculated 31,250 of charge for the year X9, which seems to be rather straightforward, yet in the notes the correct answer is provided as 32,500. Which one is correct and if the one in the notes, how to calculate it?

the answer in the notes appears to be a typo as the workings shown add up to 31,250

Is it possible to get asked to perform a tax depreciation calculation in the exam? Or more likely to apply a tax depreciation figure already given as per the previous video?
    Thank you
