Can capital losses be carried forward? I am asking because you mentioned that there is such an option in the solution to the computation example. Yet in terms of trading losses it was clarified expressly in the example that it can be carried forward, while in terms of capital losses there’s no word about it. So how should I treat it? Thanks

I’m assuming this was to replicate CIMA’s tendency to include unrelated information to try and trip you up in your answer.

At least that’s what I read from it! 馃檪
