hello Sir,
why the figure in denominator is different in caculating ROCE and asset turnover for marlet
aren’t they supposed to be same ?
please explain
Hi, I don’t know! Is there nothing in the question to guide you? Does the question not give you the basis for the calculation? If it does, then follow the guide in the question. If it doesn’t, then I would agree with you on the basis that “assets” = “capital employed”. I suppose you could claim that assets is “assets” and not therefore the same as “net assets”
