    can one person non executive director be involved in audit committee, nomination committee as well as remuneration committee at the same time?

    There will not be any conflict? I mean if the same NED is in all committees he can affect all committees and especially if he chairs them also.. this doesn’t mean that he will do whatever he wants in some extent?

    He should be independent, so if he is in all committees or some of them he will be involved in more depth in the company and become more familiar with other executives and what is going on.. isn’t this a thread to independence?

    I doubt it’s a thread to anywhere! Is it a threat? I doubt it. Are you saying that, because he’s on a committee, that will make him more familiar with the company and that’s a threat.

    Better to do without induction courses. In fact better simply to appoint non-execs but with the strict instruction that, to preserve their independence, they should know nothing about the company and should play no part in its running. How far down this route do you want me to go before you’ll admit that ………………
