Hi Sunny, One model is certainly not enough. But the exact number will depend on your word limit..you also don’t want to just brush on too many things without putting in sufficient detail.. In my opinion 3 models on Business performance and 2-3 others on financial performance may do..but it just depends…

    Hi Michaelg,

Thanks for all your help. Just a questions is there like an overview somewhere of business and financial models?

I have a couple but cant seem to have enough. I saw you wrote somewhere that 3 on 3 is a good thing but I dont have three of each…

Having come this far..through F1-F9 surely you have already encountered many models to use.. You may need to go through your business/finance analysis related subjects to refresh your memory.. Things that come to mind of the top of my head are SWOT, PEST, 5 Forces, Ratio analysis, Variance analysis (in absolute figures or percentages): from past performance, from budget/forecast, from benchmark company, or from industry average; Common-size analysis..etc

Only to mention but a few. But every case will be treated according to its own merits…

    Hi

thanks yeah they all came to my head as well. Only with 6500 words it seems to many models to explain… Plus I dont have topic 8 as my topic so then a ration analysis will be too detaield for my topic i think. i have the one on the effects of globalization.

Thank for the above tough… it helps to know that I was thinking in the right direction. But with my topic would you still recommend a ratio analysis?
