Study the whole syllabus. The examiner examines the entire syllabus. They don’t ignore anything. Study along with the syllabus from the Website !!! It helps a lot..March 24, 2017 at 7:41 am
@caron 95 Concentrate on theories as well .. especially from part c, d , e.
ie. budgeting, performance measurement and standard costing.
Use OT notes helps you to understand easily.
Practise questions from an approved provider. eg bpp & kaplan
I felt calculation based problems were easy. I failed on my first attempt because I didn’t focu on theories.
Practise extra Mcq’s from ACCA website..
Check out others opinion about their exam experience.March 30, 2017 at 5:28 pm
I sat FMA exam today and got 92%. 🙂
A big big thank you to Sir @johnmoffat and the whole opentuition team.
This could have not happened without your help. You are the best!March 30, 2017 at 6:11 pm
Passed today with 56%. Must say theory was more challenging than calculations and it had more questions. Nevertheless I am glad that I passed. Resources from Opentuition quite helpful. To those who will be writing just know your concepts very well and practice as many questions as you can. All the best.March 31, 2017 at 12:41 pm
Failed today with 46%. Pretty annoyed about it but admittedly I only started revising for this on Wednesday (Today is Friday), as I had started the F5 classes and thought this would be a lot easier! (Do not underestimate it!) Will retake again in a week or two but definitely spending more than just cramming time for the next and will be using more resources.April 18, 2017 at 11:52 am
Passed today with 58%. I found more theory than practical questions and the theory part was really challenging in itself. Lots of tidbits to get you confused along the way.April 18, 2017 at 3:47 pm
