I’ve used both BPP and Kaplan during my ACCA studies. I find BPP more student-friendly and the core contents more comprehensive than Kaplan. I’ve got somehow frustrated with Kaplan because I’ve noticed their books tend to contain a lot of errors. It appears they are hastily publishing their materials. In the 2010 F9 text, for example, they make reference to a chapter that is not in the book, at all. What I find very much appalling in both publishers is the indexing. Most of the pages referenced in their indices say nothing about the subjects referenced.
