I have One Question, is the notes of open tuition is enough to give the exam? can i give my F2 F3 By just study these notes?
February 24, 2017 at 4:29 pm
In future please ask this sort of question in the Ask the Tutor Forum and not as a comment on a test.
The notes are not to be used on their own – you need to watch the lectures because it is in the lectures that I explain and expand on the notes.
In addition you must buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers – they contain lots of exam standard questions to practice and practice is vital if you are to pass the exams.

which one will be data rather than information.
correct answer – total purchases over a period
can u please tell the logic. over the period if different units are purchased each will have there invoices which can be data. when we try to calculate total purchases over a period then we need to add up the invoices . so doesn’t that makes it a information because of processing of data (addition)
October 20, 2016 at 2:59 pm
There is often a fine line between data and information (which is why the question is phrased as it is).
Although certainly the individual invoices are data, that is not one of the options.
Total purchases does indeed involve an element of processing, but compared with the other choices it requires less processing (and is processing that would happen almost certainly automatically in the accounting system anyway).
Information is analysis that helps management make decisions and so the other three are much more examples of information rather than data.
(This is an old exam question and is typical of many exam questions in that one or more answers are almost correct, but only one is completely correct.)

i make three wrong by mistake …actually it needs better concentration to the questions..really helpful..xx
August 11, 2016 at 6:27 am
It’s too easy. not worthy to boast
August 11, 2016 at 6:54 am
But this is only chapter 1 – so obviously questions on the introductory chapter will be easy!!
The real exam will not have many questions just on chapter 1 🙂
July 20, 2016 at 12:10 pm
I got 5 , so easy. if only the real ACCA CBA were like this lo

I am having Beckers revision kit ,will it be sufficient or will I be needing more revision kits from other approved learner like bpp or kaplan.
July 8, 2016 at 7:43 am
The Becker Revision Kit is fine (but please do not ask this sort of question as a comment on a test – ask in the forums!!)

The problem must be at your end – try using a different web browser.
April 30, 2016 at 12:30 am
i got all five on first attempt very very easy!! need some very hard ones on this topic please!!
April 30, 2016 at 9:32 am
This is only Chapter 1, and any questions on this chapter will be easy!!
You must anyway buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers because question practice is vital is you want to pass the exam, and the Revision Kits contain lots of exam-standard questions.
We provide the courses free, but it is up to you to buy a Revision Kit.
April 24, 2016 at 6:51 am
nice pratice 🙂
April 24, 2016 at 8:48 am
🙂 And don’t forget to try our online mock exam when you have finished studying all the topics – the questions are taken at random from a large bank of questions and so each time you attempt the exam you are likely to get different questions.
April 19, 2016 at 10:45 am
Three questions right I noticed my mistakes……. I rushed… Not reading the questions well… Thanks opentuition
April 19, 2016 at 2:03 pm
You are welcome 🙂
(and it is the time pressure that is the problem in the real exam as well!! 🙂 )
March 29, 2016 at 9:53 pm
I prefer how the questions are laid out in F1 it is more challenging. You get your result after you have submitted all answers.
March 30, 2016 at 7:40 am
There is a reason for it 🙂
These little tests are to help with learning, and for Paper F2, since for each chapter the questions are all on the same topic then if you do understand and get one wrong then often you will get them all wrong for the same reason. However, if you get one wrong and see why you got it wrong, then hopefully you will get the next one right.
When you have watched all the lectures then you can get a proper challenge by attempting the mock exam. In that you won’t know your mark until you have finished the whole exam. (And because the questions in the mock exam are selected at random from a large bank of questions, every time you attempt the exam you are likely to get different questions 🙂 )

Got all 5 right
March 21, 2016 at 4:04 pm
March 29, 2016 at 9:51 pm
You mean you got all right on the 1st attempt, i got 4 right on the 1st attempt. F1 is different you do all the questions 1st and the results after.
